On June 26, the opening ceremony of the 2023 International Academic Summer Camp Project of the Faculty of International Studies took place inf J108 room of Gezhi Building. The ceremony brought together 17 students from University of Dundee, 2 from Universidad de Oviedo, and 1 from University of Westminster, along with more than 20 volunteers from our university, marking the beginning of the two-week SWUFE Global Academy summer camp.

Prior to this, our Faculty has successfully organized three sessions of SGA International Academic Summer Camps (including online sessions). This is the first offline camp after the epidemic, focusing on the theme of “Culture and Economy with Sichuan-Chongqing Characteristics”,spanning a duration of two weeks. The program featured lectures by experts from both home and abroad, including Expert Zheng Dongping from Hawaii, covering Chinese traditional cultural dissemination courses such as calligraphy, paper cutting, and tai chi. The aim is to enhance the international students' understanding of the culture and economy of Sichuan and Chongqing, while cultivating international youths with a global vision.
