SWUFE School of Foreign Languages for Business relies on the university’s strength on Finance and Economics in its endeavors to train high-quality interdisciplinary talents with good command of English and adequate knowledge in Finance and Economics. By offering language training and business related courses, the school’s undergraduate program aims to produce bilingual talents with international vision and solid knowledge in foreign trade, finance and business operation. In the first two years of the program, liberal arts and basic foundation-laying courses are offered. In the second half of the program, the focus shifts to business related disciplines while making sure the students continue to make progress in their language training. Such arrangement helps to ensure language proficiency as well as business related knowledge and skills.
